Here are some general online
safety tips to ensure that your time spent on the Internet is secure:
1. Never give out your passwords
to anyone. It is also a good idea to change your passwords every once in a
while.
2. Always look for the Privacy Policy on Internet sites that you visit. Avoid
websites if you do not see a Privacy Policy link.
3. Do not give out any personal information to websites that do not have a
Privacy Policy link or post personal information in newsgroups, blogs, chat
rooms, or emails.
4. Be sure to do a thorough check of your credit report each year to check for
errors.
5. Know that any and all online communication is not private unless you use
encryption software.
6. Make sure to teach your children about approaiate online behavior and not to
disclose any personally identifiable information about your family.

3. Do I have to live in the United States to become
a panelist on LatinoEyes.com®?
Unfortunately, in order to become a part of our online Latino family, you need
to live in the United States. Return to top
4. Do I need to have a checking account to receive
payment?
No, you do not need to have a checking account, but you do need to be able to
cash the check. We will never ask you for any of your personal account
information. In fact, if anyone ever asks you for your bank account information
online, you should not disclose it. Return to top
5. What kind of surveys will I take?
The surveys will be on a variety of topics such as restaurants, packaged goods,
health & beauty, fashion, travel, insurance, alcoholic beverages, financial
services, and many other interesting topics. Return

6. How many surveys will I receive?
On average our panel members will be able to complete 1-2 surveys per month.
Sometimes it may be more and sometimes it may be less. At LatinoEyes.com® we
give all members an equal chance to take surveys. Return

7. I have already registered for LatinoEyes.com®,
when will I be sent surveys?
Soon you'll be receiving an email from us with a link to another short survey
that will help us get to know you better and to better place you into surveys.
The people we choose for our surveys are selected at random. We do our best to
ensure that our members get one or two surveys a month.

8. What exactly does LatinoEyes.com® do? Why should
I register for LatinoEyes.com®?
LatinoEyes.com® gathers opinions from the Latino community about products and
services for major companies. LatinoEyes.com® learns what Latinos think about
many issues, in order to advise our clients how to better understand how the
world looks through the eyes of Latinos. Your opinions will better help
companies to create products and services specifically for Latinos such as

9. Can I refer my family and friends to
LatinoEyes.com®?
Should you happen to know any family member, friend, co-worker, etc who resides
in the United States and would be interested in joining our Latino family,
please have them check out our website at www.LatinoEyes.com

10. Do I need to be of Hispanic descent?
Yes. LatinoEyes.com® is an
online Latino community made up of Latino panelists. Our clients are interested
in seeing the world through the eyes of the Latino community.Return

11. How do I sign up?
Go to LatinoEyes.com and make sure you read our policies and
restrictions before filling out our registration. Then click on the link that
says New Member Registration , which will
direct you to a survey that will ask you for your name, address, email,
birthday, and country of origin.
Shortly
after you register, you will receive an email that will link you to a short
survey. This survey will assist us in getting to know you better so that in the
future we can email you the surveys that best suit you. After completing this
survey you will receive $4 in your LatinoEyes.com® account.

12. How do I get paid? How much do I get paid for
each survey?
For each completed survey you will usually receive between one dollar and
twenty dollars. Every survey varies in dollar amount. Members are able to check
the balance in their LatinoEyes.com® account by clicking on the link that says
"Login" and then entering your username and password. When your account balance
reaches $15.00, you will have the option to cash out, (in increments of $5.00),
or you can continue to accumulate your balance. If you choose to cash out, we
will send you a check in the name of the LatinoEyes.com® panel member to the
address on our LatinoEyes.com® files.

13. Why can I not register? It says I'm not
following "the format."
If you are unable to register because you are not following the format it is
because you may be entering an address or telephone number that is not in the
United States. For assistance please email us

14. Do I need to own a computer?
You do not need to own a computer, however, you do need to have access to a
computer and have a valid email address.

15. What if I forget my log-on or my password?
If you should happen to forget your log-on ID or your password, click on the
link that says "Forgot your username/password?" in the Login page. Enter your
username or email address and click on Submit. Your username/password will be
emailed to you. Or you can send us an email to
panel@LatinoEyes.com. Make sure to include your name, email address and
telephone number that you registered under and we will send you an email with
your log-on and password.

16. I just registered. Why can't I
login to my LatinoEyes.com® account?
Our LatinoEyes.com® login screen does not recognize new panelists immediately.
All new panelists are added on a weekly basis. Once added, you will be able to
login to your account. In addition, your account balance will be updated at
that time.

17. I can't remember my username and
password?
Please use the password retrieval link. From the login screen, click
on the "Forgot my username/password" link. You will be asked for your username
or your email address. Enter in the email address that you registered with and
your username and password will be sent to you by email. You should also note
that the usernames and passwords are case sensitive.

18. I need to update my profile (new
email, address, telephone number, change password, etc). How do I do that?
Login to your LatinoEyes.com® account. Then click on "My Profile".
There should be 3 edit buttons on the right hand side that will allow you to
edit/change your email, address, and/or phone number. To change your password,
just click on "Change my Password" under the "My Profile" link. Please be sure
that all your account information is correct so that you can receive surveys to
the correct email address and so that your LatinoEyes.com® checks are sent to
the correct address.

19. I have been a LatinoEyes.com®
member for some time now and have been receiving surveys and completing them.
However, I just tried to login, but it says my email address doesn't exist.
Why?
Since you were one of the very first members of LatinoEyes.com®, you
were not asked to create a username or password because it was not necessary.
However, we have always maintained your account updated in our LatinoEyes.com®
files.
Since then, we have created the LatinoEyes.com® login screen. However, because
you do not have a username or password associated with your email address, it
did not recognize you.
A while back we sent out an email with a link that will allow you to create a
username and password so that you can see your LatinoEyes.com® account online.
Once you create your username and password, you will immediately have access to
your LatinoEyes.com® account and you will be able to redeem your check if you
have reached $15 or more.
If you did not receive that email or have misplaced it, please email us at
panel@latinoeyes.com and let us know. We can resend you the link.

20. I just redeemed my
LatinoEyes.com® check. When will I receive it?
You should receive your LatinoEyes.com® check in approximately two
weeks.

21. I was in the middle of
taking a survey, when I accidentally clicked out of it. When I tried to go back
in, I got an error message. How can I finish my survey?
Please wait about 10-15 minutes and then click on the link again. It
should take you directly to the page that you left off.
